SAR received an order from ZF Friedrichshafen for a test stand for the quality control of synchronising discs.

In addition to a change of materials for the important friction coating of synchronising discs, the use of active thermography (ultrasound lock-in) results in a high value, non-destructive material test which fulfills the highest quality requirements. The co-operative partners SAR and Edevis are technology leaders in the field of active thermography.
