Non-destructive material testing at ZF Friedrichshafen

SAR received an order from ZF Friedrichshafen for a test stand for the quality control of synchronising discs. The ZF group is an international automotive industry supplier with 120 sites, and approximately 58000 employees worldwide

In addition to a change of materials for the important friction coating of synchronising discs, the use of active thermography (ultrasound lock-in) results in a high value, non-destructive material test which fulfills the highest quality requirements.

The co-operative partners SAR and Edevis are technology leaders in the field of active thermography.

You will be able to view an active display of an SAR/Edevis thermography application at the SAR stand (Hall B3, stand 514) at the Automatica 2008 (10-13 June).
