SAR at the Automatica and PowerGen exhibitions |
The Automatica, international exhibition for automation and mechatronics, took place in Munich from the 8th to the 11th June.
It presented the largest offer in robotics and automation globally.
Visitors from 114 countries
With around 31 000 visitors from altogether 114 countries, the exhibition gives important impulses for the commercial development of the automation industry.
SAR showcased the latest technologies out of several automation areas. Visitors were informed by illustrative exhibits.
Robotics in bavarian: "Weisswürste and Weissbier"
The improved "Weisswurst robot" of the automation section proved itself to be a major public attraction point.
This year it could not only serve "Weisswurst" with mustard and "Brezen" (pretzels) but also pour the corresponding "Weissbier".
Technology leader in respect of applicators
The Surface Application Systems section presented the current applicators and dosing systems to the subject of "dosing and application of highly viscous materials".
Due to the innovative construction, the circulation of the material can be guaranteed up to right in front of the nozzle.
This guarantees a very constant viscosity, also with production breaks.
PowerGen - most important expo of the energy sector
This year, the PowerGen Europe opened its gates in Amsterdam from the 8th to the 10th June, after it took place in Madrid, Milan and Cologne in previous years.
The expo's offer covers from large scale power plant technology, decentralized power production and renewable energies up to power supply utilities and energy service providers.
Powerful powerplant technology
The Environmental Technology department could present highly interesting projects like the gas and steam power plant of the paper factory in Plattling.
The project, successfully completed by SAR, produces 120MW electrical energy and supplies the factory with power and process steam.
The international guest's big interest in the wide scope of supply of SAR was especially encouraging.
The know-how and high quality standards from Germany also enjoy a very high ranking in the global community outside of Europe.
Positive conclusion
After both expos, we draw a positive conclusion. On the one side we could improve our international acceptance;
on the other we can expect new business relations in the medium term from the many positive new contacts.
